So this is what my brush stash and pencil liners looked like yesterday. Scary, I know! 6 cups, and shadow pencils floating around, and just simply a pain in the you know what to deal with.
Now I used to sell Pampered Chef many years ago. Almost 10? And I did it mainly so I could get all my kitchen stones for free. Seriously, never plan on using a cookie sheet again. Stoneware is the ONLY option in my kitchen! But I also knew they had the solution to my problem! So when a girlfriend posted that her sister was having a Pampered Chef party, I KNEW exactly what to do!
Let me introduce you to the Pampered Chef Tool Turn-About. This costs $24.50CAD but I think its only $19.95 for you Americans. And in my kitchen I have both this one, and the slightly smaller older white version. And now I have one in my bedroom!
Now the top middle tier goes all the way down so I really was having brushes and such lost in the depths of it. But for now a sheet of tissue paper solved that problem. I will likely get some beanbag fill from the craft store or beading to replace the tissue with in the near future, but for now, this works!
And then I started loading it up! The best thing about it is that it has a really well made spinning mechanism so no matter how much you load it up, it spins easily and effortlessly!
Even all my disposable mascara wands now have a spot!
Urban Decay 24/7 liners anyone?
And now its full. And as you can see above, there is still some room in it, so I essentially have one empty section, but other than those 24/7 liners (I swear they mate and multiply!) and the mascara wands each section has room left in it to grow.
I would love to hear your ideas for brush and pencil storage! What do you use? Does it work for you, or are you still working on finding a solution that fits your needs?
