So if you are a long time reader of my blog, these images might look slightly familiar to you. Because I have certainly blogged about the Cosmetic Market before. Its one of my favourite places in NYC. And it never ceases to amaze me that people still don't know this store exists!

But I realize this really doesn't show off just how much fun this store is. So this time instead of just taking some photos as seen above, I decided to vlog the trip!

A Message We May All Need To Hear Again.

So this image has been floating around facebook for awhile now. All these women way 154 pounds.

The point? The number on the scale really does not matter. I think we all intellectually KNOW this, but its hard sometimes to ignore the number on the scale. Its not about what we weigh, but how we feel and act and what we allow these feelings to do to us that matters.

That being said, I have been saying for years that I dont need to lose weight, I just need to gain height.... Yeah, yeah............. I know!

What I Have been Enjoying Lately

This upcoming week has been stressing me so much I am not sure in which direction up is. I have two chemistry exams this week (neither I am ready for), I work my regular 40 hours of work, and just in case that wasn't ENOUGH, I also work 16 hours this week for the Comedy Festival. Somehow in that same week, I also must manage to pack for my upcoming trip. I have 6 days left (if I survive the week) until I leave for 16 days. So I am tonight trying to pack as it wont happen any other time. Packing for 16 days, including clothing for two VERY different climates, 6 seperate formal/dressy functions that all have the same people at them meaning no recycling of outfits, IMATS outfits and casual clothes for both New York City and Vegas. AHHH!!!

And all I can think is I need a bubble bath. So I thought I would share what I have been enjoying most for baths recently. My brother and soon to be sister in law got me a gift card to Holt Renfrew for Chanukah and I have been totally digging what I got with it. Now I know that these sets are likely unavailable being 3 full months after Christmas, but every single one of these scents is amazing and you cant go wrong if you choose any one of them!

Calling All NYX Users - This Blogger Needs Your Help!

So IMATS is coming up faster than I can fully except. Less than a week away! AND I CAN'T WAIT! Now as you all know I tend to stick to high end makeup much more than drugstore versions. To start with, it actually costs a lot less to buy one $40 blush a month than to buy 10 $6 blushes a month! But the biggest thing is I have become spoiled by the quality of high end makeup. I have some drugstore items in my stash, but for the most part, the quality does not compare. Again, I do have some drugstore items I love and you couldn't trade me a Dior or YSL version if you tried to have me give them up. But in general, I will take Guerlain, Hourglass or Dior over Revlon or Maybelline any day.

Maybe that is why I have avoided NYX. Or not really avoided, but just kind of ignored. That and living in Canada we pay 50% more and its much harder to find. And the selection is much less. But last time I was at IMATS (was it just a few months ago in LA? Seems like IONS!!) I was overwhelmed by the NYX display. And so I need your help!

What do I try? I love the Jumbo eyeliners/shadow pencils and want to get some lip ones this time. I also think I am going to pick up some mechanical lip pencils. The butter lipsticks are on the shopping list, along with............ WHAT ELSE?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE comment here with items I need to try! What do you love? Or what do you want me to try and review?

Transat Collection For Dior Summer 2014

Normally I announce Dior collections with a ton of exclamation marks and excitement and statements full of words such as NEED and NOW. I wish that was my attitude towards this collection, but I am left kind of.......... meh. I wish I was feeling this collection. I just am not. Though I do love and possibly need the blue nail polish! What do you guys think?

413 BLKR Blush and Illuminator From NARS

So exlusive to the NARS Boutique, as well as the 413 Bleaker Store is this new illuminator and blush. Seeing as I will be in NYC in........ ten little days (EEK! TEN DAYS TIL IMATS!!) I am really considering going down and picking this up! I remember the last time I was in the store was the day they were having the release party for the book (I think that was two years ago!!) and I was able to pick up the at the time exclusive lipstick as well as another NARS lipstick which has since become my most worn lipstick. I am on my second tube of it! Christina is a shade I would never have even TOUCHED let alone tried if not for a sales associate in the store offering me a glass of champagne and talking me into it. Whoever that sales associate was, I THANK YOU!

So what do you guys think? Is it worth the trek over? Or should I try to forget it?!
