Naild'it Unique Polish In Dandelion

So I must say this polish is the best of any of the ones I have tried from this brand. Dandelion is a polish with a clear suspension base, small and large white hex glitter and bar glitter, medium yellow hex glitter and loaded with a super fine white shimmer in it. This polish is AMAZING over black and probably really cute over a bright blue or green!

 

The application on this was really nice actually and this is two thin coats.

Naild'it Unique Polish Tiger Puke Doesn't Quite Nail It!

I was super excited to get the travelling Indie polish box and the colour that I just HAD to have and HAD to play with ASAP was Tiger Puke. I was head over heals in love with it in the bottle. Its small matte glitter in yellow and purple. Basically, imagine Floam with purple in stead of green/teal!! I was so excited and it was the clear cut winner for my first manicure. Sadly........ the excitement ended right there. This polish is an EPIC FAIL! 

Now I have to reiterate, I LOVE THE LOOK OF THIS POLISH!!!!! But it was a thick, gloopy impossible to work with mess.  It was very thick and the glitter kind of stuck together in balls. It did not want to spread at all, and it took forever to dry. When I tried to do my second coat five minutes later it still pulled at the first coat and moved it around somewhat leaving bald spots. The pictures below are with three coats and it took more than an hour to dry. I did put on a fast dry top coat and the top of it was dry to the touch but the bottom was still wet and able to dent even 90 minutes later. 

The Travelling Indie Nail Polish Box - My Selections

So over the next few weeks you will see a lot of reviews of the following polishes, but until then I thought Id show you all a teaser. So on a forum I am on there is a travelling nail polish box. Basically you get a box in the mail JAM PACKED with nail polish and you take out what you want, put in what you want and send it to the next person who takes out what SHE wants, puts in her selections, and so on and so forth. This is the first edition of the Canadian INDIE box. Meaning all polishes that go in this box must be indie polishes. I did take a nerd lacquer polish as well, but for some crazy reason the picture didn't save to my memory card. Apparently it was too awesome for my memory card to deal with. I will retake the photos tomorrow and hopefully remember to update this post to show it as well! But until then, here are the bottle shots of the polishes I chose. This was maybe a quarter of what was in the box, and I put in many more than I took out. I cant wait to sign up for round two!!!!

This one looks so awesome and amazing in the bottle I am almost afraid to try it for fear of it letting me down! I really hope it lives up to the excitement. It is right now my hands down favourite of my selections!

Nail'It Unique Polish In Mermaid Tears

I was thrilled when I got this sent to me in the mail to review. I have to say that it was not what I was expecting based on the photo from her etsy site. This is really not a bad or a good thing, but something I think important to mention. The photo shown below is the image that is displayed on the sale site. In real life I think the silver flecks are teal and the teal ones are silver. Its pretty, but not at all what I expected colour wise. 

The website describes this colour as a loaded glitter nail polish with purples/magenta, turquoise/teal, white, blacks, coral, and rose glitters in a variety of sizes and shapes. I see mainly a silvery purple glitter with the magenta, turquoise/teal (though its very pale, more like aqua) with a tad of black bar glitter an dsome coral and magenta. 

Shown below is one coat on its own, and one coat over black. Its formula I must say is fantastic. The biggest issue I find with glitters in clear suspension is its very easy to have a suspension base that is not heavy enough to support the glitter. This causes the glitter to slide right off the base and makes application a very frustrating thing. This is not an issue with this polish! This is ONE thick coat of the polish. You could do a thinner sparser coat if you want, or you could do it this heavy. But its not an issue to get the glitter out. Dry time is great on this, the only issue is that it is a little rough. I would highly suggest a top coat to smooth it out!

The brand name I found a bit confusing. I am assuming the name on the label is just a typo and it is Nail'It and not Nall"It it. But the esty shop address is http://www.etsy.com/shop/andeevie. I really do like the quality of this polish though and will likely order some in the future.
