Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment

So I think everyone knows by no that I love me my face masks. And one of the most popular and highly rated ones on beauty blogs seems to be the Glamglow Youthmud and Supermud masks. Neither of which I have tried. At $70 a pop, its a big pricetag for a product you might not like, so I decided to ask for a sample and try it out for myself. I was not expecting the results I got.

Its a dark brown mud with what looks and feels like pieces of leaves and such in it.

As you can see, as its starting to dry its turning a light grey that looks almost chalky.

Once it dries, the spots that it supposedly sucks the oil and white heads and dirt from your pores out stays a wet looking colour.

The cell phone shots are horrid, and I really wish I would have gotten shots with my actual camera. But my skin is read (not irritated or upset, just rosy)

Overall, my skin seemed to instantly look better. The pores were less visible, the skin was smoother, and I was kind of stunned. I can sometimes feel a big difference in my skin, but this time I could also SEE a difference.

I left it on about half an hour. I took a bath and just let it dry on my face as I took the bath. Is it magic as it states? I don't know. But it sure did draw out dirt and pores. Whether it did so magically or not is up for debate!

What about you? Have you tried this before? If you did, what was your opinion? Do you love it? Hate it? Indifferent? I will certainly be picking this up when I am in California for L's wedding in a few weeks.
