Sephora Black Friday Deals!

In previous years I want to say the black friday deals were $12 here and $10 in the USA. I could be wrong, but I feel fairly certain of that. This year, they are still $10 in the USA but they are $13 here. To be fair, our dollar is much weaker than it was in the last few years so I can't complain about that. And here are all the sets. There are a LOT of them this year!

So the big question is, what are you guys getting?

Butter London Lillibets Jubilee VS Butter London Posh Bird

Its amazing how different these look when photographed. And its also amazing how similar these looked when sitting in the Butter London drawer of my Alex. But they actually ARE very different.

Lillibets Jubilee (on the left) is an a very shiny metallic almost silvery dusty purple. Posh Bird is best described as a silvery dusty purple version of Victoriana (one of my two all time fav polishes ever, across any brand). They are very similar, but Lillibits Jubilee is much more silver, less dusty purple and has more of a "look at me" type feel to it.

This set is $49 at Sephora and its said to have a $75 value. The set is not currently available on the Butter London Canada website or at Holt Renfrew so as of now, I would say if not a Sephora exclusive, it might as well be.

Butter London Lippy Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayons For Summer 2015

It looks like these are a new hybrid pencil. The work and job done of a chubby pencil, but in a slimmer pencil. Which hopefully means it will be able to do double duty! Now just like a certain palette from Too Faced, this is going to be part of the Summer 2015 collection but is up early on Ulta's website for all you spoiled Americans! GRR!!

Butter London Lippy Moisture Matte Lipstick In Ruby Murray

OK, I think I have a new fav lippy (no pun intended on lippy).

This a plummy bricky, reddish rose colour. Its not red, its not brick, its not plum, and its not rose. But depending on how you look at it, it could be a plummy brick shade, or a reddish rose shade. Its gorgeous. And its a subtle shade while still being a shade. Its not a your lips but better, but its still very very wearable. I will call it a rose toned berry shade but its not as bright as a normal berry.

Here it is swatched very heavily. Its not as red in real life, and looks more like the colour shown in the tube above. As you can see, its also not totally matte. While it has no shimmer, or sparkle, its mositurizing enough that it doesn't look like a standard matte.

Butter London Gilded Gears - Swatched!

I was so excited to get this set in the mail! I was looking forward to Earl Grey more than any other, but shockingly, Goss is the winner here. In fact, I think that will be my next manicure.

The formula on these is fantastic. They are all smooth and apply easier. And they all were opaque in two coats. Earl Grey is a bit on the streaky side, but other than that no complaints.

West End Wonderland is a gold holographic glitter. Its on the more matte side when it dries in texture, but so glittery and hologaphic that its not really a matte. Earl Grey is a silver metallic polish that sadly is quite streaky. Goss is a liquid copper/rose gold that is so metallic and really looks like shiny rose gold. No streaking which floors me. Clockwork Heart is a purpley chocolatey maroon shade that is just different with every angle you look at it in and every light.
