Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks in Streak and Rapture
Having heard how great these Revolution lipsticks were, I had to go try them out at Sephora. Look at me hopping on the bandwagon, always late to the party!
I ended up choosing both Rapture and Streak. Trying to break free of my rosy nude and rose toned pink lipsticks I chose these two and I think it was a fairly good job! Rapture is , OK, a dusty rose. LOL. But its a darker and slightly more plum leaning version than my typical go to. Its a pinky plum shade that is very easily opaque and has a fairly glossy finish. Streak on the other hand is described as being a coral pink. Its a warm toned coral that might be a tad brighter than I am comfortable with but I am determined to rock it!
While they both seemed to last only about 3 hours on me (most lipsticks last half an hour). No idea how people get 4, 5 or 6 hours out of a lip product, these performed better than most do on me. Streak was a little sticky for a lipstick (not enough to bother me though) though both felt moisturizing and comfortable on.
I merely swatched these on my arm for 2 minutes before wiping them off and you can see they left a stain in that short time. Not a bad thing at all! This was after trying my best to wipe the colour off!
