I tried to use a $3.50 coupon for a BL & another $2 bottle of polish but couldn't. They say the BL is one of their higher end polishes & discounts don't apply. Not sure if another cashier couldn't be "distracted" to bypass this "rule" but it's worth a try.
from what I understand it depends on the cashier and it depends on the store. I have a few friends online who were able to use it in store no problem and others that can not. It sucks that you can not though!!!
There is no Ulta store or cashier anywhere in Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Delaware (and probably the entire U.S.) that will allow you to use this type of coupon, where the exclusions are made quite clear, on any of the prestige brands, which include Butter London. If anyone is telling you otherwise, they aren't using this type of coupon. here ARE coupons from Ulta which have no exclusions, and they come out at least 4-6 times a year, and they also have F&F events. I believe that the bar code on some of the coupons actually prevents it from being used on the prestige brands. The store itself is physically divided into the prestige side and the mass side, and the website is clear about that as well.
I have twice in the last year and a half been in the states while one of these coupons were going on and managed to get the discount on butter london. It might have changed but there has been confusion in the past at stores as to whether or not BL is considered a prestige brand. I can not say what will go on this time but I have DEFINITELY used it on BLs in the past.
