1-Minute Chocolate Chip Cookie in a Mug


INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 Tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon (pinch) salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1-2 Tablespoons chocolate chips
STEP ONE:
Microwave butter in a mug until melted (about 30 seconds).

STEP TWO:
Mix both sugars and vanilla extract in until smooth. 


STEP THREE:
Mix in egg yolk until you can no longer see the yolk.


STEP FOUR:
Mix in flour and salt.

STEP FIVE:


Mix in chocolate chips.


LAST STEP:
Microwave on high for 55 seconds!


Now as you can see, the mug is only a third full And its not an oversized mug in any way. But the cookie tasted great, took 3 minutes including prep time, and ended with NOT having a a tray full of cookies I would have eaten! So I call this a big success.
