So I was asked today to post a picture of what I was eating for dinner. I wish I had made something healthy and impressive, but I had a long crappy day at school. It turns out they ran out of one of the textbooks we needed for one of my classes and since they cant get anymore textbooks in time, our professor is CHANGING the text! For most people, its a pain in the butt, returning the $170.00 text book they purchased and returning it. For those of us like me who bought it used we are just SOL! So I paid $120.00 for what seems like a very expensive paperweight. And since its a workbook I cant even make do with it. BAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Ok. Rant over.
So one of my favourite things to eat is sauteed mushrooms and onions. I saute them on the stove with a bit of EVOO, and then add some salt, garlic and harissa seasoning.
Then I put that on thick slices of toasted rye bread! Totally unhealthy. Totally YUMMY!!
Crappy day, but yummy dinner! Guess its a good thing I am going to the gym tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteButtered toast with onions and mushrooms cooked in oil? There is no protein, it's carbs, fats, and a bit of veggies cooked in fat.
