New Ceramic Glaze Line Of Polish - All Swatched

So I was perusing through the aisles of Shoppers Drug Mart last week and came across a new line. Ceramic Glaze. Now there seems to be a lot of confusion as to what this line is. Apparently Shoppers Drug Mart is getting an exclusive line of polishes from China Glaze made only for them to sell. Is this THAT line? I truly have no idea. It would seem to make sense, but at the same time there is no mention of China Glaze anywhere on these bottles and I cant seem to find any info online. So if you happen to know PLEASE comment to let me know!

These polishes are 10.99 and come in 16 shades. To be totally honest, they seem like rather boring shades at a price tag that does not really induce impulse shopping. With the exception of one red glitter, ALL are shimmers.

Now my pictures are not the best. My cell phone takes ok photos but nothing great. And I had to do it on the sly. The security guard kept giving me dirty looks and came over halfway through to tell me I was not allowed to take photos in the store.

But these are the eight on the top row. The colours from left to right are: blueberry, watermelon, santorini blue, honolulu, tropical guava, lychee cocktail, exotic dragon fruit and copacabana.

And the bottom eight are

The names of the bottom eight are tuscan blush, peep toes, russian rouge, hong kong diva, sexy stilletto, leather mini, little black dress and strawberries and milk. Hong kong diva is the one that is glitter all the rest are straight up shimmers.

So there you have it. All 16 Ceramic Glaze polishes swatched. Kind of boring if you ask me. What do you think? Have you picked any of these up yet? Wanting to? Lemming any?

  1. Too funny. Saw these today and posted on my page if anyone knew of them. There wasn't anything when I googled either.

  3. well they're not AS bad as I thought..but 10.99 is a bit steep, may pick a few up.. i hope these aren't the shopper's china glaze or else i'd be sorely disappointed - Mir

  4. I love them but I wouldn't spend 11$ on a bottle.

  6. I also researched them and found something about them being made by seche vite. I purchased tropical guava and its a really pretty bright barbie pink. It hasn't chipped the first few days. the description on the bottle is misleading though because it says long lasting shine but they were extremely matte when dry. Also they are kind of streaky and need 3 coats for full coverage.

  7. Forgot to mention they also dry very quickly! So even though they are expensive I think they are worth it. I was finished doing my nails and dry in under 10 minutes.

    1. Not at all shiny, but it's not a matte. It has a shimmer in it. But it is totally flat

  10. I just bought the watermelon cooler, and so far it's a pretty bright and true to colour turquoise.

  11. They are made my American International Industries which is the same cover brand that makes both China Glaze, and Seche Vite so they are most likely the China Glazes being made for Shoppers.

  13. I just purchased "Sugar Coat It", which looks like a really pretty blue, and it is... bubbly. I don't even know the best way to describe it. It has a very rough texture and has the appearance of tiny little bumps when it dries. What the...?!

The nude "Peachy Peach" is cute so far (I've done 2 coats) but looks like it will require 3-4 coats until opaque.

    1. Sounds like maybe its a liquid sand polish? I would guess its a textured polish (especially from the nam eof it!

  14. Yeah I bought a shade from that collection too but the display said texture so I knew how it was going to look... Ceramic Glaze makes nice colours, they don't chip either

  18. I lucked out one day and got the purple hibiscus and peep toes on a clearance rack for 3 BUCKS! Someone made a boo boo, because this is the best nail polish I've tried in a while. What I love is if you goof on a nail, you can quickly paint over it and it blends back in so well without noticing the nick. Dries super fast and long wearing. I think I wore 3 coats of peep toes for 10 days and it only started wearing out at the tips after maybe day 6? I'm going to buy some more today!
