Holiday Baking So Easy You ALMOST Feel Guilty..

So what do you do when you have been sick, writing exams, working AND have to submit baking of some kind to a bake sale? If you are like me you do this. Seriously the EASIEST holiday cookies/treats in the entire universe to make. Store bought dough is more time consuming than this trick!

Now these are all you need. Three little ingredients

  • Yougurt covered pretzels (I chose chocolate covered simply as they were easier to find!!
  • ROLOs
  • Pecans

First thing you do is set the oven to 350 degrees. Then get a cookie sheet and put down either a silicone mat or some parchment paper. Then lay out the pretzels.

Are you with me so far? This is about as tricky as it gets. Put a rolo on top of each pretzel.

And put these in the oven for FIVE minutes. When they come out, push a pecan into each ROLO.

Now these pretzels were larger than the ones i have used in the past so I had to get the hang of how to push the pecan in so that it covered all the holes. But that got adjusted.

And while not quite a cookie, they are a GREAT and easy treat to make and they go over really well. In less than TEN MINUTES from start to finish you have this:

Trust me people, you will never fear a bake sale again!!!

  1. Yum Yum and double Yum! :)

That recipe is a absolute keeper.

Bake sales and Christmas gifts, birthdays and hope you are feeling better days.

Thank you for sharing. nice to look at too! But I bet the longest anyone looks at these beauties is long enough to reach for one and pop it in their mouth.

Good for parties and TV snacks too!
