Dior 306 Gris Trianon Swatches And Comparisons With 707 Gris Montaigne

Gris Trianon was the only piece I purchased from the Spring Chérie Bow Collection. Being as it was a mainly pink collection it just was not my cup of tea. But a grey? Sign me up for that!

Dior 306 Gris Trianon is a neutral toned grey that I would ALMOST describe as a nude. It almost has a bit of a muddy cement look to it while at the same time being pastel and very lady like. I was worried it would look a little too much like 707 Gris Montaigne, but they are NOTHING alike.

Compared to the Trianon, Montaigne looks much more blue. But its really a neutral true grey. I think it looks so blue only because of how muddy/brown tinged the Trianon is. Also if you can tell, the Montaigne while in the bottle looks like a true cream, on the nail it has the slightest hint of a shimmer that is just gorgeous and adds so much depth.

So do you need both? I think they are so completely utterly different that if you are a grey whore lover like I am, then yes, you do need both!
