Sephora Online Window Shopping!

So I was just browsing on the Sephora website and oh my do they have some new fantastic sets and items that I want!

Ive already shared with you the images of this Lippmann set from Wicked and will have to be sure to pick it up shortly! It WILL be mine!

Oh wow! I have never tried Tarte products before and I have been interested in the Amazonian Clay shadows and blushes for ages now! And this set seems AMAZING! At a price of $71 it would have to be amazing to make me debate getting it, and I am seriously considering it! In this set is
  • 20 x .07 oz Limited-Edition Amazonian Clay Eye Shadows
  • 8 x .059 oz Deluxe Maracuja Lipglosses
  • 0.23 oz Deluxe Pure Maracuja Oil
  • 0.08 oz Deluxe Maracuja C-Brighter™ Eye Treatment
  • 0.05 oz Deluxe Limited-Edition Amazonian 12-Hour Clay Blush in Memorable
  • 0.17 oz Deluxe Cheek Stain in Flush
  • 0.16 oz Deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes™ 4-In-1 Mascara
  • Travel Makeup Bag

Limited Edition and online only, this Bobbi Brown eyeshadow palette screams my name as loudly as a palette can! At $60 its reasonable, but the Lorac Pro Palette below might just be edging it out for the simple reason that this looks like every other palette I already own! But then again, its as "me" a palette as you can get!

I have really been lemming this palette hard ever since I saw a YouTube review by MakeupByTiffany. At $55 it just might be the first of these sets (other than the Lippmann Wicked set) that I pick up!

To be honest, I am kind of over the whole Philosophy 3-1 scents. I dont think they lather that well, the scents dont linger and they are merely ok. But I really want to try these salt body scrubs and for $35 I get this nice set!!

And while this last set doesn't interest me AT ALL, I know a lot of you will love it, so I thought I would share a Sephora Lippmann Exclusive! Not a bad deal for $22!

  • 0.27oz Nail Lacquer in She Bop (fresh pink crème finish)
  • 0.27oz Nail Lacquer in Happy Birthday (silver/multicolor glitter finish)
  • Happy Birthday glitter bag 4”(W) x 1 3/4"(D) x 3”(H)

September Wantable Box Unboxing Video

So I got my Wantable box in the mail the other day. My feedback to the company was that I liked it but didnt love it. And while I only got one product I specifically said I didnt like, I did get a product I said I disliked and had I actually purchased the box I would have been much more annoyed by it. The response? "OOPS! We screwed up! Sending you a new product now!". Within 5 minutes I had a new shipping confirmation email! I had specifically said I dont like red lipsticks, dark or deep lipsticks!! So I was asked if there was something specific I would like in exchange for it and I still wanted a bit of a surprise, but I wont lie. I want a Laqa polish in a colour that isn't pink. My answer was either a not pink Laqa polish or a makeup brush! I'll let you all know what they send me when I get it!

If you all don't mind, I would LOVE if you could give this video a thumbs up!

Beauty Mail! Bits and Bobs!

So I thought I would share with you all some lovely pieces I just got in the mail. The Chantecaille Shadow and The Rose Palette I was lemming since it first came out (I posted about it once already) but today I am happy to say it is MINE!!!!!!!

For any of you that have not yet experienced the luxuriousness that is Chantecaille shadows, you really must. Or.... maybe you shouldn't. If you don't know what you are missing, you can't yearn for them can you?

This palette is simply gorgeous. These are two full sized shadows and a blush with a special embossed rose on the top. They come in a Ma Petite Palette (which retails for $42US empty) and the shades retail for $25 when purchased as refills. That makes the retail value of this set $117 and the palette sold for $79. I got it for a STEAL ($35)!!!

The colours from left to right are Lilac Rose (Shine Eye Shade), Intrigue (Cheek Shade) and Bourbon Rose (Shine Eye Shade). As you can see, the colours are highly pigmented and just beyond gorgeous! The only slight issue I have and I may just pop out the shadows myself and do this is that I HATE that the blush is in the middle. I am not sure why it bothers me so much, but it does. But since they are simply refills in a Ma Petite Palette I can just pop out the colours and change the order around!

I also got this Dior Nail Sparkling Powders Set in the mail this past week. Not much to really say about this yet, since I have not yet used this and am saving it for a special occasion. The powders though are really really tiny. They are the size of the Birds of Paradise nail polish duos from last season. So that is something worth noting. Otherwise, they are simply Dior nail polish bottles filled with sparkles and glitter! And a fixative to adhere them. The one thing that makes these slightly different than other nail glitters is that the bottles come with a brush and you brush the glitter on instead of shaking it over the nail. But don't get too excited. From my understanding, you still end up with a big mess to clean up after the fact.

Ceramic Glaze Into The NIght Holographic Collection And Swatches

So I picked up the entire Ceramic Glaze collection at Shoppers Drug Mart last week. OK. That was a lie .I picked up TWO entire collections of the Ceramic Glaze Into The Night Holographic Collection last week. One set for me, one set to split up for a few exchanges I am doing right now.

Now while these colours are nice, I don't think I would call them holographic. More like metallics or foils with a holographic shimmer? They are nice, and they do have some holographic shimmer but they aren't really out and out holographic!

Dance Til Dawn is a pinky-purple foil with holographic shimmer. I think this is more purple than pink, but for pink haters out there like me, it definitely is close enough to a pink for me to see it as pink.

I'm a VIP is a dark plum metallic shade loaded with holographic glitter. A great deep dark purple with a shimmer that is gorgeous!

Exclusive Invite is a........... colour I cant even describe. Its not grey, its not brown, its not purple. Its a brown that looks almost grey or purple in some lights, or its a grey that leans brown or purple in some lights. I dont know! Its different, its unique, and its got a great holo shimmer in it, though they all really do.

Going To The After Party is a slightly blackened navy blue shade. Its certainly a blue, but so dark it almost looks like a grey or black from afar.

DJ Play My Song was the worst of the collection. Its a slightly blue tinged silver. Its the only one that is really streaky. It dries down more so most of the streaks aren't as visible in real life as they are in these photos, but it is still slightly streaky.

All in all, while I really like most of these polishes, they aren't quite holographic enough for me to call them a true holographic collection. More like heavy holographic shimmer. They are nice though! The wear is good, and overall I would say if you are able to handle the 10.99 price tag, then pick them up! But maybe pass on the DJ Play My Song!

These will be available at Shoppers Drug Marts nationwide through the end of October!
