CLINIQUE Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer

What it is:A rich, weightless formula that fuses bold, saturated color with a smoothing primer.

What it does:
This lip color delivers a lightweight formula that lasts for up to eight hours. It glides on effortlessly, creating a modern-velvet finish that keeps lips comfortable while color stays true.

These are now available at Sephora for $21, I hope to see these in person soon so I can swatch and play with them! What do you think?

Face Mask Friday - Clinique Acne Solutions Oil Control Cleansing Mask

We all know I am obsessed with face masks. That is no secret. So of COURSE I had to try this one. I was unsure how I could go so long without ever noticing this, especially since I use at least two other products from this range. But nevertheless, it somehow escaped my radar until recently.

This is a clay mask that only sits on the face for 5 minutes. Usually clay masks take longer than five minutes to try so I was already curious about it for that reason alone.

This mask is WET. I tried to squeeze out a small drop to see the texture and this shot out. A very wet thin consistency that surprised me. So if you are going to try this, be careful because it pores out.

This mask applied VERY smoothly and easily with my trusty ELF foundation brush (its my face mask brush).

I ended up leaving it on about 10 minutes. I never listen to instructions well! It dries quickly and it had started to crack.

I cant say I SAW a difference afterwards but it certainly seemed to dry out my skin and my current breakouts seemed to be drier and look like they were further along than as fresh as they were. And they did dry up and disappear a lot faster than they usually do, so overall, I think this is a great idea as something to use when going through an ACTIVE breakout.

For me the biggest thing is that my face wasn't red or irritated at ALL afterwards. The red you see is my every day red (sad but true). But I always end up with a super red face after ANY face mask and this was the first one that caused NO redness at all. That being said, it never lasts long and its not something that stops me from enjoying a mask. But the fact that it left no irritation speaks to how TRULY gentle this mask really is. Overall, I would certainly not call this a deep cleansing mask and would not likely make it a regular go to for myself like my St Ives, Glamglow or Soap & Glory one, but next time I have an active breakout I am going to go straight to this one! So it certainly has a permanent spot in my medicine cabinet.

Holt Renfrew X Rebecca Minkoff Beauty Bag

Holt Renfrew X Rebecca Minkoff Beauty Bag Only 50$ Valued at over $125!! With $25 voucher to put towards on your next purchase at Holts!!

So this was the image that was posted on facebook along with my favourite sales associate making the simple and dangerous comment. She simply posted my name. Tagging my name in a Holt Renfrew Beauty Bag alone is bad enough. But a MINKOFF colab? Sigh............ I was in the store within 10 hours of her tagging me!

I ended up buying both the gold and the silver, but the gold one was for my mom. I kept the silver one, though to be accurate, its more of a gunmetal.

This bag is big. And has a zippered pocket inside. Now I know that Minkoff changes up the lining on their bags ALL the time so I was surprised to see the lining matched my mini mac from them. But the zipper is nice feature and again, this bag is BIG!

And I must say this little brush holder is great! This will certainly get use!

This was certainly the most pricey of the Holt Renfrew beauty bags, but it also had a $25 coupon instead of the normal $10.

I have to say though, the beauty items inside the bag were, at least for me, the best thus far in these bags. I love the chubby sticks, thrilled to try a Laura Mercier eyeliner, and really there is nothing in the bag I wont use (aside from the shampoo, but I was given a bunch of other Oribe samples to try to make up for it!). Also, the revive glycolic peel I am both thriled and exited to try, and also pissed off to find in this bag. It retails for over $300 and I am worried that I might love it! At least, the full sized one comes with 30 pads so you get quite a bit of product, but oh my is it a steep price!

I have a feeling this bag is going to sell out fast, so contact your local Holt Renfrew store asap to reserve yours, or you can contact Melanie Drain at Melanie.Drain@HoltRenfrew.com or 1-204-926-8105

New GWP At Shoppers Drug Mart

So this is the new GWP that will be starting...... This Saturday I think..... Anyways, its starting soon and free with a $125 purchase from a Beauty Boutique. The gift looks ok, but the it seems far disappointing in comparison to the one that Murale just had. That being said, this fake Longchamp tote looks awesome and might be a reason by itself to pick up some goodies!

Holt Renfrew Autumn 2014 Beauty Bag

The price of these bags seems to keep going up and up, this one being $45 and you get considerably less inside. I think it seems to be a trend though that the Autumn ones have far less in them than the spring ones.

That being said, for $45 and $10 off, I am ok with it because the bag is so awesome. I have actually already used the bag and think the value is there for that alone.
