Painted Sabotage Gargle Blaster

I was recently sent a private message on facebook asking me about this polish and it made me realize I had not yet posted this polish!
The Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster was invented by Zaphod Beeblebrox, a major character in Douglas Adams' novel The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The effect of a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster is like having your brains smashed out by a slice of lemon, wrapped 'round a large gold brick. It has also been described in the novel as the alcoholic equivalent to a mugging; expensive and bad for the head.
Gargle Blaster a polish that screams wear me!! A mint green shade with a slight shimmer, accented with fuchsia, silver and gunmetal glitters!
This is very sheer with one coat, so that you can layer over other polishes, but does build up nicely with additional coats of polish.
Now personally for me this is a more grey toned teal blue than a mint green base. But the rest of the description to me is spot on! And did I mention how much I love that its based on the HGTG? The triology of four books! I LOVE IT!

In all the swatches below are two coats on its own. I really like the polish and I think it applies beautifully. I like that the fuchsia tends to look more purple than pink! Its GREAT! I dont have anything else to say about this. The glitter tends to sink a bit in the bottle overtime, but its easily mixed back up. It applies nicely and there is nothing to fault in the formula.

Gargle Blaster is available HERE from the Painted Sabotage Etsy store for $9.75. Now shipping is kind of pricey to Canada at $7.50 but each additional polish is only $1.25 so at least if you get a few or go in with a friend you can get a bit of a break on shipping.

Now just a note. These polishes are made in micro batches and sometimes things come out slightly different from one polish to the next. It seems mine is slightly less pigmented than they usually are. Now this is not a complaint. I know this because the owner contacted me to try to send me one that is more in line with the vision. If you order one it will most likely be a bit darker than mine! I actually LOVE this one the way it is, but I am super impressed with the customer service of this brand!

Travelling Indie Nail Polish Box - Take Two

I am not sure if you remember or not, or if maybe you were not a follower of my blog at the time, but about 6 months backed I showed you all the indie polishes I chose out of the travelling indie box. So the way it works is there is a box FULL of indie brand polishes. And by full, I mean it had almost 100 polishes in it! The box gets sent to someone who takes out what they want, puts in what they want, and then seals the box back up and ships it to the next person. The box came to me on Friday afternoon. I got to pull out what I wanted, and this is what I got!

Nail Pattern Boldness - Flipping Out Hard
Painted Sabotage - Gargle Blaster
Ninja Polish - Girly Floam
Daring Diva - Master Shake

F4 - Mirror Ball
Pretty & Polished - Galax-E
Starry Earth - Sultans Daughter
Starry Earth - Candy Corn

Hare - Heat Plague
Hare - Amethystos
Emily De Molly - Simplicity
Gloss And Sparkle - Perpetual Darkness

KB Shimmer - Orange Pop
Rainbow Honey - Hoof Wrassle
Cult Nails - Annalicious
All That Glitters - Valentine Massacre

Nostalgic Nail Lacquer - Jordan
Candeo - Deep Space
Dollish Polish Flesh

Now the biggest problem I have is - WHAT ON EARTH DO I WEAR FIRST? Have you tried any of these? What do you think of them? Cant wait to hear your feedback!
