I was recently asked to swatch Kristen. And I was stunned at how unique it was within my collection!

Its sooooo pretty! Compared to both Cult Nails Living Water and Chanel Nuit De Russie.

As you can see its very similar to Cult Nails Living Water but the shimmer and glitter is not as holographic. Otherwise it looks very much the same!

I know, I know! I promised you swatches of Jane a week ago! I am seriously trying as hard as I can to stay afloat and keep caught up these days! Between school, work, school, school, school and...... did I mention school? 4 chemistry courses, four chemistry labs and a calculus course this term are killing me! But I do have them! Jane is described as a full coverage rose gold glitter. It is more of a copper than a rose gold if you ask me. Hilllary is a gold, brown and copper glitter, and rose gold is a slightly orangey-er version of it. Then I have Vivian followed by Oscar.

I do like Jane (and its limited edition so if you want it, grab it now!) but I do think its more of a copper than a rose gold. Its kind of like a really orangey rose gold? Very pretty. And I love the combination of it over Cult Nails Manipulative!

Cult Nails Manipulative, Charming And Spontaneous

All three of these polishes are limited edition. I had a list of about 8-10 wishlist polishes from Cult Nails so when all the limited edition colours went on sale for $8 each, I figured I should jump on the chance to get ALL the limited edition ones off my list before they are gone forever! And look how gorgeous they are!

Manipulative is described as an “opaque pale blue with a hint of green”. I would describe this as an aqua, but it leans more green than blue. I would personally describe this as more of an opaque pale green that leans blue instead of the other way around. Its a dusty kind of colour and has a really pretty blue green shimmer. I have zero idea whatsoever about any colour that even slightly resembles this.

Charming is a smoky lightly/barely pink tinged purple with iridescent fuchsia shimmer. If you have Illamasqua Faux Pas, this is the same basic colour just slighly lighter, take away the rubber finish and add a touch of fuchsia shimmer. Hope that makes sense!

Spontaneous is described as a “dark, deep, dusty purple creme with vibrant purple glitter.” This is a slightly greyed out eggplant and scattered purple micro-glitter. If you have Enigmatic and are wondering how similar they are, they are not at all. Enigmatic is much darker and its slightly muddier.

So here I have a post that is WAAAAAY overdue.  Believe it or not these were purchased during the PRESALE! I know. But exams, being sick, having surgery.... life just got in the way! But please do not think that that for any reason has anything to do with the GORGEOUSNESS and AMAZINGNESS that is in these beautiful little burritos! It amazes me that its been sooooooo long since my very first ever post on this thread of Maria's first collection. Not much has changed since then to be honest. The polishes are just as gorgeous, just as unique, Maria is still the same woman we fell in love with on her blog, and the prices while going up a tad in the new year, are relatively similar to when she started!

Disciplined is a "sheer but buildable soft grey with purple, pink and blue shimmer". This one is a pale slightly but just ever so slightly blue leaning grey with gorgeous shimmer. In person its the pale blue shimmer that really shines through. Opaque in three coats, its so pretty.

After Glow is "a copper infused polish with a subtle pink shimmer". This one is one of the two I had no intention of keeping whatsoever. And the FIRST one I put on! I am wearing it now! lol!

Bitten is a "a raspberry glass flecked polish". This one I would personally not call raspberry. its like a bright red tinged burgundy or wine that leans a little purple. It is STUNNING! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! Its not too vampy. Its perfect!!

Flushed is "true Blurple (blue/purple) buildable sheer with an intense purple/pink shimmer effect that appears to glow through the polish". This one is kind of......alive? It really takes on a life of its own. its blue, and its purple and its got this intense and insane pinky purple shimmer, all at the exact same time. Every time I look at it another colour shade of blurple is kind of revealed. Its hard to explain. But its beyond gorgeous!

And last but not least, Coveted which is a "jelly deep green with metallic green flakes and subtle green shimmer.". This one I KNEW I didn't want, KNEW I was going to not wear and justified the presale in that it was a free polish to gift to a friend. Sorry unnamed, unverified, conceptual friend. YOU ARE NOT GETTING YOUR PAWS ON THIS!!! LOVE!!!! It is such an interesting and unique and pretty green. It is possibly (and by possibly, read IS) the most gorgeous green I have ever seen.

Holiday Wish List - REVISED!

So a few weeks back I posted my holiday wishlist. I wish I could say that it stayed stagnate but it has certainly evolved! I have managed to pick up most of this list, and a few items came off the last list. But all in all, I want all 96 of these holiday polishes and I think ALL of them are limited edition (with the possible exception of the Cult Nails set).



Ok, so that being said, of that insane shopping list, this is all I have left to pick up from the list!!
