Nail Swatch Sticks - Cheap, Free Shipping, NOT ON EBAY!

So I know the place to find swatch sticks for reasonable prices can be difficult. And for those without paypal or those who do not want to go through ebay, it can be even harder. Well, here you all go. I much prefer the cream ones. Nails are not clear and I find I get a more realistic view on the cream ones. But here are links to both options. Free shipping and mails from the USA.

Flower Beauty Lip Suede Velvet Lip Chubbies In Mauve Over, Berry-More & Red-dy To Bloom

Now this was a holiday set but since each shade is available in the permanent collection it seemed like I should still post them. The set was not a great deal financially since each lippie is 1/3 the size of the full sized ones. So you are getting the equivalent of one full sized product for 30% more of the cost. But you get to try 3 shades and that is what sold me on the set.

From left to right the chubbies are in the shades: Mauve Over, Berry-More & Red-dy To Bloom.

Now these are pigmented. And I am all about a matte lippie! They have a bit of a tendency to travel on the lips a bit so a liner would be a good thing. But otherwise, they feel nice on the lips, they are not particularly drying (especially for a matte product) and while they may not have the best wear time, for a $7 product I am not so bothered by having to reapply then.

Smashbox Step-By-Step Contour Stick Trio

What it is:
A set of three ultra-blendable, creamy sticks that glide effortlessly onto skin for targeted, precise application and a totally even finish.

What it does:
These hot contouring products have always been a best-kept secret of those in the know. Now Smashbox has made it easy to put your best face forward with three shades that mimic perfect lighting: Contour sculpts by creating shadows, Highlight mimics light reflection to pull features forward, and Bronze provides a smooth transition that eliminates the look of harsh lines. The result is flawlessly shaped features from defined-looking cheekbones to a seemingly perfected nose to the appearance of a sculpted jawline. The kit also includes a how-to insert with simple instructions for achieving the best look for your face shape.

This set contains:
- 3 x 0.12 oz Contour Sticks in Contour, Bronze, and Highlight
- Sharpener
- How-to insert

This set is intriguing but pricey. This set is $52 and I am not quite sure I want to try it for what will be basically $60 after taxes. But its up and available at Sephora and if you have the money to splash out, this might be the item to grab!

Laura Mercier Paint Wash Liquid Lip Colour for Spring 2015

Laura Mercier has some new lippies available that I can not wait to try! This is one brand that seems to be able to do no wrong in my books. I have been impressed over and over and over again over the last year or so not having tried anything really that I didn't love!

Shades include:
  • Golden Peach
  • Petal Pink
  • Coral Reef
  • Nude Rose
  • Rosewood
  • Vermillion Red
  • Red Brick
  • Fuchsia Mauve
  • Orchid Pink

Tarte Eye Opening 12-piece Amazonian Clay Eyeliner Set

Now you may all be going "she got more eyeliners??". Its true. I have somehow managed to go from the idea of "UD 24/7 liners are the best liners on the planet and I wont use anything else" to realizing that there are much better ones out there (mind you I have found only a few so far). So now I feel compelled to try so many out since I ignored so many brands for so long. And the truth is that I needed a nude liner and owned exactly zero before getting this set.  I got it on clearance at Sephora for $30 and with 20% off it was only $24 for the set. While long gone from sephora (sorry!) it is available for $25 ($33CAD) on the tarte Canada or US website HERE.

The set includes 12 full sized liners in a small little gold brush/liner roll.

From top to bottom: Golden Plum, Hunter Green, Chocolate, Navy, Charcoal, Brown, Black, Bronze, Antique Gold, Jungle Green, Plum & Nude.

From left to right, Golden Plum, Hunter Green, Chocolate, Navy, Charcoal & Brown.

From left to right Black, Bronze, Antique Gold, Jungle Green, Plum & Nude.

VERDICT - The pigmentation is great. I am not quite sure the black is much of a black. I would call the charcoal dark grey or gunmetal and call the black charcoal to be honest. Otherwise, no complaints with the pigmentation. The glide on easily though some shades smudge and move a bit more than they should. But they are not bad. For the most part I think the Urban Decay ones are better but these aren't terrible. They get about 6 hours of wear making them not the most long lasting, but for a night out they are good. The biggest complaint about these is the stupid plastic lids that are cheap and dont stay on well.

For $30 bucks though, this is a fantastic set of eyeliners for you to start out with. That being said, I am not giving up my Julep or Marc Jacobs pencils!

Dior Kingdom Of Colors Limited Edition Palette

What it is:A makeup palette featuring ten custom textures for a full beauty makeover: face, eyes, and lips.

What it does:
With a mattifying skin-perfecting powder, a pearly highlighter, and a coral blush to enhance the complexion, this palette is complemented by rich shimmery shadows. Featuring four professional applicators, it lets you define eyes with the aqua green and black eyeliners, and adorn lips with an iridescent, coral gloss and a powdery pink lipstick.

This set contains:
- 0.03 oz Eye shadow
- 0.08 oz Eye shadow
- 0.02 oz Eye shine
- 0.09 oz Blush
- 0.028 oz Eyeliner
- 0.03 oz Mattifying skin perfector
- 0.02 oz Skin highlighter
- 2 x 0.02 oz Lipgloss
- 0.02 oz Lipstick
- 4 x applicators for the face, eyes, lips

This set is pricey at over $100 and its a mix of cremes and powders which I dont like at all! But if you are all for this set, grab it now from Sephora before its gone forever!

Rebecca Minkoff Mini Crosby Crossbody

Most people know that I have a slight purse......... appreciation. I had never seen this bag before, and while I had many minkoff bags on my wishlist, this one never landed there. It also is not a color palette that I would normally be attracted to. But I was in a boutique in the Cosmopolitan hotel and casino and saw it and had to have it.

BUT.......... I need to know what kind of shoes to wear with it! So I ask you all, what colour shoes do I put with this? Its a tiny bag (for me) the size of the mini mac bags but it seems to open wider making it easier to put things in and get things out of. I have worn it a handful of times so far but am still at a loss in how to style it. So any outfit ideas, shoe pairings and general styling ideas for this bag, BRING EM ON!

Thanks all!
