Hair Care Haul!

So as you all now know, I got rid of most of my haircare products. I therefore needed to go find some new products to fall in love with that are silicone free. So if you can see above, the sign says Buy 1 Get 2 Free. It seems the salon (Regis Hair Salon) is getting rid of the bed head line along with some other products and just wants to clear them out. Buy 1 get 2 free seems to be about as awesome a deal as I can imagine in a salon, and boy did I take advantage!

Now I guess I should state that I have fairly good hair at this point. My issues are volume and texture and when I straighten it (it just kind of sits flat) and curl definition when worn curly. I use dry shampoo (Julep Dry Shampoo is amazing and thankfully silicone free) to add texture. I really have no issue with greasy hair any longer and I put dry shampoo on straight hair to give it some added volume and that's about it. I don't like crunchy curls or anything that looks crunchy or greasy.

My hair routine is either to straighten it, add a dry shampoo or texturizer, and then give it a good spray to keep the volume. If I am leaving it wet, I will add a curling balm or mousse in to the wet hair, and then when it drys give it a good spray. That is about it.

I would like to find a heat protector spray, but I have not really had any issues. I don't straighten it more than once every two weeks, so its not high on my priority list.

Here is what I got (all silicone free of course):

I will be honest. It was not easy to find silicone free products. For every 4-5 products you pick up, maybe 1 will be silicone free. But as you can see, they can be found!

Now along with the buy 1 get two free, I also happened to get 40% off the entire order. So:
Total retail cost: 132.05
Final Cost: 28.47!!!!!!!!!!

  1. I love the magority of the bed head range and being a knowledgable hairdresser I really should be looking for silicone free products but I don't woops. Some products work amazingly from the range but others I find don't, they are heavy and sometimes very sticky. I'm now wondering if it has anything to do with the silicone lol!
